*19th of April 2015 Update*
Hello and welcome to the mess that is m0vst.co.uk!
It's been easily a year since I've spent any decent time on the radio and kind of wandered off and found other stuff to do in my life - other hobbys etc., too much of one thing made it boring and unexciting, the enjoyment wasn't there so really sub-consciously I gave it a break.
I'm kind of back but not fully, I still don't have the function to reply to anything on Youtube, I can't reply or comment on my videos even. The backend system of youtube including messaging etc is all messed up when it it got googlisd' and went south. Nothing works unless I want google+.
As well as losing the ability to communicate with you good people on youtube there has been another situation that made give it a break, kind of not really my choice as the noise levels outside forced a stop to any kind of shooting video. Retake after retake made it time to call it a day. Relentless sound interference plus a few other (disgusting) things made my garden a really horrible place to be in.
Well things are on the up, the sun is out and this year I'm going to try and pull my finger out and get some portable operation done, some youtube firsts to be recorded, some individual and one off experiments with some very unusual materials and ideas when it comes to antennas that I want to share with you all.
I'll install my video editing software on the recent rebuild windows and dig out the intros/outros. There is quite a bit of footage to go up that I shot over the last few years you haven't seen, blooper takes, explosions, live hell fire rockets on the battle area, glowing green fireballs whilst sat operation /p, mega QRP missions and received more of those secret "number stations"
The site needs a revamp and feels old to me, so M0VST v2.0 might be on the way, its ended up being like a scrap book and a place I visit to use the links to get places when I'm not at home.
If you do comment on my youtube channel or videos please don't feel i'm rude by not answering, its not that I don't want to, youtube has taken away that function. Peter VK3YE is in the same book and has took to answering all his questions in a video format, It would take me months to catch up with all the comments.....!
Raspberry pi 2 with RetroPie has taken up some of my time recently and needs its own page under projects in the future..
All the best
Thanks for subscribing.
Catch you on the air.
